From Guidance to Operation – Key Considerations and Training Areas for Implementing the Reliance Pathway

This session aims to highlight the evolution of reliance pathway implementation among regulators within the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). It will also explore the practical support needed by regulatory agencies as they prepare to operationalize their reliance pathways in 2025.

The webinar invites regulators to share how their reliance processes were initiated, along with experiences on effectively leveraging assessment reports from Reference Agencies (e.g., TGA) in regulatory decision making. The session aims to gather insights that will serve as key considerations and training areas for moving toward operationalizing reliance pathways. Ultimately, this will enable patients to access safe and effective medicines more quickly.
